I really wanted to thank everyone who made it out to the “A QUEST FOR BETTER DRAEMS” in Berlin at Strychnin Gallery. It was so great to meet all the new faces. Thank you to the ones who made the long long trip just to see the show and thanks so much to the Strychnin team you are all AMAZING! Aprella and I had a blast being there. I am a little crazy with work rite now in the studio but I promise I will have the images up soon in the gallery on the site from “A QUEST FOR BETTER DRAEMS” I as will update the journal with photos from are trip and show in Berlin. For more good stuff I just received “MASSES” hot off the press 2 disk CD music by Geoff Gersh. _______________________ Posted - 10/4/2006 DIMEBAG FANS Six-String Masterpieces recently created a special 100 page Collectors Issue of Guitar Player magazine called Six-String Masterpieces: The Dimebag Darrell Art Tribute. As the name implies, it is devoted to this art exhibit, featuring spectacular photography by Will Hawkins. This is the best look yet at this project. It features highlights from various tours, exclusive photos of the artists painting their guitars as well as some very insightful articles revolving around Dime's relationship to Dean Guitars and the eventual creation of the Dime Razorback model guitars. There is even some photos of Dime's original sketches of the Razorbacks. This material has never been in print before. "It was done by a friend of mine named David Stoupakis. He's a local artist here in New York and I first saw his artwork at the CBGB gallery, when we did that free show there," Davis said (see "Korn Play Surprise Free Show At CBGB"). "I gave him this lyric from one of the songs ['Seen It All'] ... 'I'm just a child with a tear in his eyes/ And I'm holding this gift that is broken.' And I go, 'Paint that.'
